Thanks to a link from Make:blog, traffic to Whittled Down has exploded in the last few days. If you've just found my blog--welcome! If you like what you see, I hope you'll check back once in awhile. This is a blog full of sustainable living ideas for regular folks. Everything you read in this blog can be done by someone who works full time and rents a house (some projects, like chickens, may depend on how cool your landlord is).
Happy Exploring,
Libby

I'm glad to see you're doing chickens. We've kept a yard of about 15 chickens/layers for about 7 years. The eggs are a noticeable difference from store bought eggs, yolks are much yellower and firm. We have 5 acres and let the chicken out in the morning to roam and eat bugs, they go back in the chicken house to roost in the evening. I am starting to explore cheese and am awaiting my first delivery of supplies from leeners.com. that is how I found your blog. Keep up the good word.
